* The difference between being a passenger in your parents' car and riding a bicycle
* Rules of the road (Vehicle code) for bicyclists
* San Marino City rules for bicyclists
2. BikeSGV and if not available by Jan Ketelaar (10 minutes):
* The importance of determining and agreeing on a safe route from your home to (Middle) school with your parents.
* How to select a safe route.
* Safe riding:
* Ride defensively (see and be seen, ride predictably, ect.)
* How to cross intersections and make left and right turns.
3. San Marino Police and Jan Ketelaar (10 minutes):
* How to equip a bicycle according to code (lights, reflectors, brakes, etc.)
* Bicycle theft and what to do against it
* How to make your bicycle suitable for carrying book bags, sport bags, etc.
* How to ride when it is/gets dark.
