Oh What Fun! Huntington Middle School joins in on the fun for the very first time this year! Our "Science is a World of Fun" themed Science Fair will display projects from both Valentine Elementary and Huntington Middle School this month on January 22nd 5:00-7:30 p.m. in the HMS Gymnasium. Come and check out this first ever Grades K-8 Science Fair to see what fun ideas have been cooking inside all of those creative minds. The LA Astronomical Society will treat attendants with their best telescopes to help them get up close and personal with the planets, and the SMHS Robotics Team will also be demonstrating their newest creation. If that doesn't sound fun enough, how about skipping a night in the kitchen to come eat a meal with us from the In n Out Truck? Pre-orders are being taken now in the school offices. Another important first for our District is that the top 13 entries from grades 6-8 will move on to the LA County Science Fair! All of our K-8 winners will be also be invited to an exclusive event with the LA Astronomical Society on the evening of February 7th. We wish all of our participants the best of luck and we hope to see you all support our scientists on January 22nd.
