Return to School, Monday, January 13th
Dear SMUSD Families,
I hope this message finds you safe and well. Over the past few days, unprecedented events have brought challenges and heartbreak to many of our families, friends, and loved ones. Our thoughts are with all those affected by the severe winds and relentless wildfires.
The San Marino Unified School District remains steadfast in its commitment to the safety of our students and staff. Over the past week, the District has worked diligently to ensure a safe return to school on Monday, January 13th.
To support our SMUSD community in this transition, please note that school will begin at 9:30 a.m. for all students (TK–12) on Monday, January 13th. Right At School (RAS) staff will be available at Carver and Valentine beginning at 7:00am for elementary students enrolled in the RAS program. Regular schedules will resume for all schools starting Tuesday, January 14th.
We wish you a safe and restful weekend and look forward to welcoming our wonderful SMUSD community back to school!

SMUSD Board of Education Unanimously Votes to Place $200 Million School Facilities Bond on November 5, 2024 Ballot
This locally controlled funding would fix our schools, upgrade our classrooms, and improve access to educational technology. The measure would help SMUSD qualify our schools for future state matching funds, which would otherwise not be available.
